Inspection, Cleaning and Storage Instructions
Before each use, the markings on the boots should be checked to confirm that the product is suitable for the intended personal protective equipment application. Boots with visible cracks, punctures, tears, chemical damage or mechanical deformation should not be used. If there is any doubt after visual inspection, the boots should be sent to an authorized testing body for routine electrical testing.
The inside and outside of the footwear should be dry before use. Although the lining has sweat-absorbing properties, fully wet footwear may reduce the protective performance. For this reason, the boots should be dried in open air before use if moisture is present.
After use, boots that have contacted oil, petroleum derivatives or similar contaminants should be cleaned with water and dried away from direct sunlight. Extra chemicals, paint or aggressive cleaning materials should not be used.
For storage, the boots should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat sources, moisture, ozone sources and artificial light. They should not be folded, compressed or stored under pressure. Recommended storage temperature is between +5°C and +35°C. Aging may negatively affect electrical resistance, therefore boots should be inspected and tested during both storage and use periods.
