This is the most balanced single-phase package in the selected range. Twelve 430 Wp N-type TOPCon modules provide 5.16 kWp of installed solar capacity, closely matching the 5 kW inverter output. It is a sensible starting point for a house, villa, home office or small professional property with a compatible single-phase connection and regular daytime electricity use.
The system supplies active building loads while solar energy is available, reducing the amount of electricity imported from the grid at that moment. The smart meter and Wi-Fi accessory support monitoring and can form part of a correctly engineered zero-export arrangement where export is not allowed. There is no battery in the package: the inverter follows the utility supply and shuts down during a grid failure for anti-islanding safety.
This package is recommended where the aim is a technically proportionate system rather than the highest possible panel count. Its moderate roof requirement also leaves more room for walkways, fire access and future roof maintenance.
Suitable Applications
- Grid-connected houses and villas
- Home offices and small professional premises
- Small shops with a single-phase electricity supply
- Properties with refrigeration, office equipment or other steady daytime loads
- Projects where battery storage and outage backup are not required
Why This Package Is Recommended
- Its 5.16 kWp solar array is closely matched to the 5 kW inverter.
- It avoids the under-sized 4.30 kWp array used in the official Small variant.
- It has a lower roof and structural requirement than the 6.02 kWp Large variant.
- The capacity step is easy to explain and suitable for many single-phase residential projects.

Important Technical and Installation Notes
- This is a battery-free on-grid package. Anti-islanding protection disconnects the inverter during a utility outage, so the package must not be presented as a backup-power system.
- The live package page names Uno Home 5.0; the current technical sheet identifies the 5 kW model as Uno-H-5.0-N. Confirm the supplied inverter code, hardware revision, firmware, grid-code certificate and warranty before quotation.
- The presence of a smart meter does not create permission to export or sell electricity. Confirm whether the destination utility permits export, requires zero export or requires a separate bidirectional utility meter and agreement.
- A final string layout is not published. Calculate cold-temperature open-circuit voltage, MPPT operating voltage, input current and cable loss for the actual site before installation.
- The published mounting set is for a tile roof. Metal, membrane, flat-roof, facade and ground-mounted projects require a different engineered mounting bill of materials.
- Verify roof structure, waterproofing, wind and snow loads, fire access, earthing, lightning protection, DC/AC surge protection, isolators and local electrical protections.
- AC cabling, distribution-board modifications, utility meter works, installation labour, access equipment, commissioning and authority fees are not clearly listed as package components and must be defined in the quotation.
- The product page publishes cable quantities as 20 with the unit Piece. Confirm the actual linear metres, cable type, connector requirement and final route length before offering the package.
- Annual production and savings depend on location, roof geometry, shading, temperature, tariff and consumption profile. Do not promise a fixed yield or bill reduction without a site-specific simulation.
Information Required Before Quotation
To prepare a technically correct quotation, please share:
- Destination country and project address or coordinates
- Recent electricity bills and interval load data, where available
- Confirmation that the property has a single-phase grid connection
- Grid voltage, frequency, contracted power and main-breaker rating
- Typical daytime, evening, weekend and seasonal electricity use
- Roof type, usable dimensions, orientation, inclination and structural condition
- Roof and surrounding-area photographs showing possible shading
- Whether grid export is permitted or zero-export operation is required
- Local grid-code, utility-approval, metering and certification requirements
- Proposed panel, inverter, smart-meter and main-board locations
- Estimated DC and AC cable routes and lengths
- Existing earthing, lightning and surge-protection conditions
