A2Z-SMEC Series Metal Enclosed Modular Switchgear is designed for medium voltage applications where reliable power distribution, operational safety, compact structure, and easy maintenance are required.
The series can be manufactured up to 36 kV rated voltage, 3150 A rated current, and 40 kA short-circuit withstand level. Its compact metal enclosed structure provides an efficient solution for power generation, transmission, distribution, transformer substations, heavy industry, mining, transportation, and emergency power facilities.
A2Z-SMEC Series switchgear is designed in accordance with IEC 62271-200 and related international medium voltage switchgear standards. The series is suitable for withdrawable circuit breaker applications and can also be supplied with withdrawable voltage transformer configuration depending on project requirements.
The switchgear structure includes independent compartments, mechanical and electrical interlocking systems, internal arc safety design, earthed metal partitions, and modular construction for reliable operation and service continuity.
