TommaTech 25.6V 204Ah G2 Lithium Battery
TommaTech Modular Series 25.6V 204Ah G2 is a low-voltage lithium iron phosphate battery designed for modular energy storage applications operating around a 25.6V nominal battery architecture.
The battery uses prismatic LFP cells together with an integrated Battery Management System featuring balancing functionality. According to the official technical documentation, the protection architecture includes overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and overtemperature protection together with temperature sensing.
The BTR-P-25.6V-204Ah model provides 204Ah capacity and a published energy value of 5,222.4Wh. Recommended charge and discharge current is 100A, while the manufacturer's stated maximum charge and discharge current is 150A under defined conditions.
For larger energy-storage requirements, up to 16 identical units may be connected in parallel. Series connection is not permitted. CAN, RS485 and Bluetooth communication are available, together with an LCD for local battery information.
The battery should be selected according to the inverter battery-voltage range, BMS communication compatibility, required storage capacity, continuous and peak power demand, environmental conditions and required autonomy.
Battery capacity alone should never be used to determine whether the product is sufficient for a house, commercial facility or other application without completing a project-specific load assessment.

Cycle-Life Test Conditions
The 8,000-cycle figure is linked in the manufacturer's datasheet to defined conditions including:
- 0.5C
- 25°C ±2°C
- 50% SOC
- 75% DoD
- 80% EOL
It must not be marketed as an unconditional 8,000-cycle guarantee.
Technical Architecture
The battery combines prismatic LiFePO4 cells, an integrated BMS, temperature monitoring, battery protection functions and communication interfaces within a metal enclosure.
System capacity is increased through parallel connection of identical batteries while retaining the nominal battery-bank voltage.
Series connection is not permitted.
How It Works
The battery receives controlled DC charging energy from a compatible inverter/charger or energy-storage power-conversion system.
The BMS monitors battery voltage, current, temperature and cell conditions during charging and discharging.
When energy is required, stored DC power is supplied to the compatible inverter, which then converts or manages the energy according to the connected system architecture.
Intended Applications
- Compatible low-voltage solar energy storage
- Backup energy storage
- Modular battery systems
- Off-grid or hybrid systems where inverter compatibility is confirmed
- Low-voltage ESS projects requiring expandable battery capacity
Compatibility
Compatibility must be verified using the exact inverter:
- manufacturer
- model
- firmware
- battery-voltage range
- CAN/RS485 protocol
Matching battery voltage alone does not confirm compatibility.
