SPI Series 18.5-132 kW Metal Enclosure Irrigation Inverters

TommaTech SPI Series Metal Enclosure irrigation inverters cover the central commercial range of the official portfolio. Ten models provide inverter ratings from 18.5 kW to 132 kW and compatible motor ratings from 15 kW to 110 kW.

All selected models use three-phase 400 V AC architecture with a recommended 300-750 VDC input range, 900 VDC maximum input and 550 V recommended MPPT voltage. This common electrical platform simplifies product selection across larger farm, orchard and agricultural water-transfer projects.

The metal enclosure, multi-function keypad, MPPT control, water-level inputs and PV/AC operating logic make the family suitable for professionally engineered irrigation installations. The standard drive remains IP20 and must be protected by an appropriate cabinet and cooling design when installed outdoors or in dusty, humid agricultural environments.

Model Selection Guidance

Match the inverter to the motor using both compatible motor power and rated output current. The official sizing sequence intentionally leaves headroom between inverter and compatible motor power. For example, SPI-TT-132.0-TF is a 132 kW inverter with a listed 110 kW compatible motor. Do not select only from the inverter's rated-power value.

• AC input range: 380 V (-15%) to 440 V (+10%), three phase.
• Standard protection level: IP20; install indoors or inside a suitable ventilated, weather-protected cabinet.
• Manual operating conditions: -10°C to +50°C, derating above 40°C, RH up to 90% without condensation and altitude below 1,000 m without derating.
• MPPT maximum-power tracking, water-level control, weak-light sleep/wake and PV/mains selection logic are configurable through the drive parameters.
• The official manual requires vertical mounting and clean cooling air free from corrosive material and conductive dust.
• Phase-loss, PV voltage, motor overload and inverter overload monitoring are included in the manual's protection and diagnostic parameters.
