Oil Immersed Distribution Transformers With Conservator Tank
A2Z Energy oil immersed distribution transformers with conservator tank are designed for reliable medium voltage power distribution in distribution networks, industrial facilities, private properties, agricultural irrigation systems, GSM base stations and infrastructure projects.
This transformer type uses transformer oil as both an insulation and cooling medium. During operation, the transformer oil expands and contracts depending on temperature changes. The conservator tank provides additional oil volume for this expansion, supporting stable oil circulation and reliable transformer operation.
Transformers with conservator tank are preferred in conventional oil immersed distribution applications where long service life, proven transformer technology and reliable cooling performance are required. According to project requirements, the system can be configured with different oil types, voltage levels, phase options, tap changer options and applicable standard compliance requirements.
For safer operation and easier maintenance control, oil immersed distribution transformers with conservator tank can be supplied with essential protection, monitoring and connection equipment. The air dryer / breather helps reduce moisture intake during air exchange, while components such as Buchholz relay, oil level indicator, thermometer, winding temperature relay and pressure protection equipment support reliable operation and monitoring.
Depending on installation requirements, the transformer can also be configured with off-load tap changer, HV and LV bushings, cable box, oil drain valve, earthing points, lifting points and wheels for easier connection, handling, installation and maintenance.
A2Z Energy supports project-based supply of oil immersed distribution transformers with conservator tank according to required power rating, voltage level, phase type, oil type, tap changer requirement, installation environment, protection equipment and applicable international standards.
